1/13: office space

this is the public space on the ground floor of my office building.  the white thingies are designed to reduce the noise and the echo-y nature of the place, which is all granite and marble.

i never heard it before they were added, but i'm thinking these things really work, because it is quiet.  but mostly, i just like the way they look...
