2/3: troublemaker

We were on the receiving end of our first "Incident Report" from school today.  I am tasked with having a talk with Elsa about looking with her eyes and not grabbing with her hands (in this case, breaking an unnamed child's headband).

Ah, yes... "look with your eyes" is a phrase uttered many, many times a day in this house. We started with the "1 finger touch" to eliminate grabbing and have slowly worked our way to (sometimes) being able to keeps our hands off.
And, sheesh- that note could not have been more condescending!

Uh oh! That's it - pack that kid off to Juvie Hall.

Not to belittle the crime, but Miss Amy needs to work on her spelling. There's a thing called an APOSTROPHE, people. Use it.

Thanks, Melissa. It leapt out at me, too. Helps me pretty much blow off the whole incident, which does not bode well for the future of my parent-teacher relations. If your complaints about my daughter are not grammatically correct, well then Imma gonna ignore 'em.
