mothers day dress and safe places for mercurial 2-year-olds

This is a dress given to Elsa by her Gamma some time ago - brought home from Paris.  It has been too big for a long time but today we tried it on and it just about fits!  So exciting. 

Elsa got to wear it out to breakfast with Oma, which made her very happy.  Bfast was OK but Elsa's sometimes unpredictable cranky side came out, which really stresses me out.  Oma very kindly offered to have us over to her house once it was clear that Elsa was not fit for public exposure. Not sure how restful it was for Oma, but it was really really appreciated by me!
